Important for removing the pre-made box that underlaps the banner: Go to the CSS code noted here on this screen shot and change the text after border to read simply "0". Do the exact same thing for border-width directly underneath. Change the text to "0" - You're coding now!!

Now scroll down until you start seeing HTML code that looks like this. ERASE starting with {h1 id="blogtitle"} all the way down until you see {p id="description..."} Basically, we are erasing all traces and references to the blog title that is pre-coded into the template. We are, however, keeping the description references in tact.

After you click on the Template scoll down until you see this section of code starting with: #blog-title { ... ERASE this whole paragraph of code.

Add the code for the banner image in the Description box. Begin your code with

Now that you have placed your image into the description box under settings, you will notice some gnarly configuration problems. Notice the title above the banner and the misaligned box around the top. During the next step, we will remove and refine this problem so that all you will see will be the blog banner.
